One of the freshest and powerful voices to emerge out these shores in the past few years, Vuyo brings a different aspect into South African music with a mixture of afro-soul fussed with ragga and ethno-trad and a touch of jazz. His comfort behind the mic and his dynamic command of his voice allows him to traverse with ease into his world of music.

His versatility behind the mic has been recognized as far afield as Holland where he has just returned from a successful 3-week long tour alongside Zonke and Zuluboy for shows at Mundial Festival and Roots Open-Air Festival, including various clubs gigs. Whilst in Holland, Vuyo collaborated in the recording of two but separate songs with a rap artist, Typhoon, as well as with a roots reggae outfit called Rootsriders, for release in Europe.
